DMG DMC 55 H CNC Horizontal Machining Center

The DMG DMC 55 H, manufactured in 2008, is a CNC horizontal machining center designed for high-performance milling and machining applications in series and industrial production. Its horizontal configuration, high rapid traverse rates and automatic tool changing system make it suitable for efficient multi-operation machining with a reduced number of setups.

The machine offers a working area of 560 × 600 × 600 mm, with an X-axis travel of 560 mm, Y-axis travel of 600 mm and Z-axis travel of 600 mm. It is equipped with a 400 × 400 mm pallet capable of handling workpieces weighing up to 500 kg. Rapid traverse rates on the X/Y/Z axes reach up to 60 m/min, supporting short non-cutting times and high productivity.

The spindle reaches speeds of up to 12,000 rpm and provides approximately 20 kW of power. The machine uses an HSK 63 tool interface.

The DMG DMC 55 H features an automatic tool changing system with a tool magazine offering up to 60 positions, enabling efficient multi-operation machining and reducing the need for frequent operator intervention.

The machine comes with a comprehensive range of equipment, including a measuring probe, additional new table guideways, a set of spare parts, additional tooling and accessories, a coolant system and chip conveyor.

Inspection and repair

The machine is offered for sale after a complete technical inspection and repair. All faults detected during the inspection will be eliminated. Components requiring attention will be repaired or replaced as necessary. After completion of the repair work, the machine will undergo a complete functional inspection.

The machine can be inspected and tested under operating conditions before purchase. A warranty is provided for the repair work performed.

After completion of the technical overhaul, the DMG DMC 55 H will be delivered to the buyer in excellent technical condition and fully ready for operation. Additional spare parts, new table guideways, tooling and accessories are included in the scope of delivery.
